Twin statuettes for Branded Content bring Simpatico’s Telly tally to seven; mark first-ever for its Original Content business unit.

For the “Craft: Use of Graphics” category, Simpatico Studios placed 4th, trailing only Warner Bros. Discovery Inc. (NASDAQ: WBD), Qatar-based Alarby TV, and WWE Studios (NYSE: WWE). Simpatico Studios also took bronze in the “Branded Content: Promotional” category.

The Telly Awards lauded Simpatico Studios’ ability to “‘Break Through The Static’ of the ever-increasing ubiquity of video” with a bronze honor for its animated trailer for Runaway Silver, the studio’s flagship Intellectual Property franchise.

“The caliber of the work this season truly has reflected the theme of breaking out and standing out,” said The Telly Awards Executive Director Sabrina Dridje, who said the competition received nearly 13,000 submissions this award season—the highest number in a decade.

Marvel Studios director Katie Hinsen was among the 200+ working industry professionals who comprised the 2023 Telly Awards Judging Council. Other Telly Awards judges included Epic Games producer Fred Volhuer, Vimeo Vice President Derick Rhodes, and Sony Music content head Kaki Stergiou.

Twin statuettes at the 44th Annual Telly Awards add to a growing list of accolades for Simpatico Studios’ wholly owned Runaway Silver franchise.
